The Vitamin's Home Microenterprise was established in Quito since 1999, which
imports, markets and distributes natural products with brands like NBTY Puritan's Pride
Natural Wealth and the most prestigious brand in the United States, Nature's Bounty. In
its product line the one with lower turnover inventory is 800mcg folic acid, identifying
that does not have good reception in the market, due to the lack of promotion by the
microenterprise, added to the described is the lack of population about the benefits that
this product offers, thinking it's exclusively for women in gestation.
This thesis has been developed in order to design a marketing plan which let us to
establish appropriate strategies for the repositioning of 800mcg folic acid, and thus
improve sales and profits, establishing benefits for The Vitamin's Home
microenterprise |
