This project emphasizes the automation of industrial machinery through control devices such as microcontrollers, through which you can operate a system or process with minimal human intervention. The work includes the design of HMI, programming, implementation, installation and performance testing of the automation of a heat exchanger tube and shell teaching.
To achieve this goal requires an analysis of the behavior and operating conditions of the equipment, obtaining the necessary criteria on which the elements are selected to be replaced.
Measurement systems required in the software are constructed to evaluate the actual performance of the heat exchanger, thus an experimental analysis confirms the validity of the corresponding theoretical study is done. Tests show that the new features are working properly.
In the laboratory automation work will provide a better teaching aid in the study of the transfer of heat. In addition students will have a broader basic automation concepts and processes that can be controlled in the vision industry. |
