Sumario: This project consists in the analysis of the thermal behavior of the water vapor inside the distribution pipes, carried out in a specialized Ansys software. The input values are taken from a Pyro tubular boiler of Clayton brand of 125 BHP, with maximum load of 1226 kW, maximum equivalent steam delivery 1957 kg / h and at a pressure of 6 bars. The results obtained are analyzed along the final stretch of the network, by comparing the results varying the speed and thermal insulation parameters. The best result is the case of a pipe with an input speed of 20 m / s and a thickness of thermal insulation of 30 mm, obtaining adequate values at the output: speed from 33 to 34 m / s, condensate of 2.55%, quality of 97.46% and temperature 158.99 ºC. As compared to the case of a pipe with an entry speed of 30 m / s and thermal insulation of 30 mm thick, the results do not meet the design standards. The contribution obtained from the simulation, result in the theoretical solutions to the phenomenon of drag and that through the simulation are able to identify the errors and therefore are prevented in practice
