Sumario: I would like to begin analyzing phrases and thoughts of Bruce Lee, known outstanding figure as martial artist, philosopher and US citizen writer from Chinese heritage. The final objective is to support principles and purposes of the research and creation of a documentary product. Bruce Lee thinks about this: “Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” With this the author tries to communicate about the essential relationship between nature and human being. In this case about the nature of water, as the energy that go over our organism and our spirit. It is a energy that we make it flow and shape through the body, it is a powerful force as matter and element. It has de ability to create and produce life on any environment, it is an element that its been related as medicine and healing by different cultures. The dimension of water and the energy of the human body have curative qualities for letting flow this vital energy inside our bodies and its movements. Many martial arts and oriental philosophies agree with this vision about nature and cultivation of the body and the mind through meditation and corporal techniques. The following research is about Tai Chi, an ancient martial art of China, and its relationships with body´s vitality and its communication. The research responds to the communicational products demand, in this case a documentary that show different stories about people practicing Tai Chi on Quito City. The objective is to get knowledge about the benefits of this art.
