Nonverbal communication is as old as the very existence of human beings. In the first form of message transmission gestures are recognized, cuddles or signs, which realize a desire of the individual to communicate and live in society, defining it as a social being, by the tendency to not face life in loneliness.
In this form of communication, the body is a fundamental pillar of message transmission, so that the movements acquire coordination with the senses of life and its environment, to streamline coexistence between the individual and society, giving, of Thus, a conventional language from the body and its movements.
The emergence of the city as a center of agglomeration and population concentration, leads to the emergence of the urban setting in which heterogeneous groups manifest. One of these forms of urban cultural manifestation is the dance, which allows you to discover the body and its movements as a communicative element, in which not only interested in the playful and artistic discipline, but also the ability to transmit values and awareness on certain issues facing society.
This is the case of "Urban Ballet of Ecuador", whose dancers express their culture and propose to society the recognition of youth as a carrier of identity and freedom, who through dance and body movements acquire senses that move between artistic and conscious. |
