The project is a systematization of workshops on logopedic techniques that was aimed at children’s parents from 3 to 5 years old with dyslalia, from the “Therakinne Physical Rehabilitation Center”, with the mail objective of training parents to stimulate the language of their children. The workshops were designed in order to parents have a guide and knowledge that allows them to recognize from home supporting the therapeutic processes and, thus, the child achieve a good quality adaptation to the school environment.
An important aspect that was taken into account for the implementation of the project was the prevention of language disorders, which are related to two processes, on the one hand, the evaluation process and, on the other hand, intervention. Therefore, preventive strategies were proposed that sought to reduce the incidence of language problems in the child so that this way has an emotional and optimal development in the social environment.
Whit this project the main achievement was the construction of an alliance between the father and therapist, i.e. not only the therapist is directly responsible for overcoming the child’s difficulties, but his family plays an important role in the intervention. |
