The systematization of this experience will establish how the social and solidarity
economy was present in the processes of production and marketing of Red de
Productores Agoecológicos Bio-Vida, Cayambe. Why it is important to understand the
models, processes and concepts that emerge from a supportive approach? How to get
a better understanding of the circuits that could take shape with the participation of
several networked solidarity economic actors? Is it possible a joint work between the
Organization and the local actors? These are some of the concerns through which the
reflections from this work will be developed; understanding that this work is not
conclusive since it represents a reading of the reality that can certainly vary with the
interpretation of other people.
While Bio-vida has contributed to the strengthening of local initiatives and experiences
arising from reciprocity, it is appropriate to recognize that the solidarity economy
coexists with a capitalist economy, possibly in a stage of subsistence where especially
women aged between 40 and 65 years old participate, whose salaried job spouses and
children hold the expenses for housing and other needs.
However, the present systematization allows explaining the importance of
organizational strengthening and the enhancement of women's work in the building,
development and maintenance of such economic circuit. |
