Sumario: This project is focused on the design and simulation of vibrating sorting machine kernels by diameter with a capacity of 1.5 tons / day. The project is divided into four chapters detailed below. Is the problem statement, objectives, scope of the project, and information necessary for the design of the machine as well as the structure of the corn kernel and its properties is collected in addition to the design considerations springs and elements of the machine. Three proposals are set to make the study of alternatives; from the analysis of the characteristics of each of them, the best choice is selected. Vibrating, to develop the design of the sorting features, mechanical components and supporting structure are considered, based on formulas and calculations for sustainable material selection. The project cost is estimated future construction and conclusions on the goals set at the beginning of the project are presented, as well as important recommendations.
