Sumario: Since the Ecuador environmental policies on the use of renewables for electricity generation, in the present work attempts to estimate in a simple but also accurate incident solar energy along the DMQ in an average year from actual data on the Earth's surface by the competent institutions. This raises to three paths, the first from the studies by Angstrom and Page, the second through the Stefan - Boltzmann and the third through a study Fourier harmonics. To verify the validity of the above is implemented these models in CENACE photovoltaic project and compared the accuracy and error of each, all with the purpose of raising the percentage of clean energy consumption and meet the demand of user.
