This thesis project is focused to analysis of occupational risks and the proposal improvement in the UNNOMOTORS Company Cia. Ltda. unpacking area. The development aims to identify which are the risks that are latent in the area are and how these affect the performance and health of workers.
The problem approached by this topic is based on certain causes which generate physical and mental discomfort to workers as incorrect positions, inappropriate use of tools, preparation of the work area and the lack of signage.
The interest that leads us to make this work is to improve working conditions for employees and reduce the level of risks that can affect the workers’ health. Because of the great physical effort required, the area has been subject to a high rate of staff turnover, nevertheless the company has been unable to provide immediate solutions and design an improvement plan.
To analyze the risks was carried out a field research where the application of questionnaires, interviews and observation are vital tools to collect such information and thus define the current situation of the area and make a technical-economic proposal for improvement. |
