When radio communication means powerful and being present in most Ecuadorian
households, is an important means of mass media to reach the public with the
information required to provide . It aims to promote knowledge in and listeners to
prevent chronic and viral diseases through this radio production.
It has been made a series of 13 microprograms to be broadcast on "In Radio" and "
Radio Message Cayambe " was held on diseases of increased morbidity and mortality
in Ecuador , based on statistics from the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses
(INEC ) ; In addition, various techniques and formats for the development of scripts
and radio dramas , sound effects and the use of an active language to facilitate
understanding of the target audience as target was used, following specifications of
authors like Lopez Vigil , Emma Rodero , Mario Kaplun among others.
In Ecuador there is a lack of knowledge about the consequences that can lead each
disease and a lack of awareness about the care that people who suffer need . The

proper management of major diseases , so the goal this way the public can lead a
normal social and work life, without affecting its development as a person and his
