The present titling project describes the analysis of the current situation of the Data from the GADPB and presents a proposal for its redesign, for which use was made of the PPDIOO and Top-Down network methodology. The proposed data network was designed under a hierarchical structure model of 3 layers, consisting of core switch, distribution and access, as well as defined a DMZ.
Then the OPNET simulation of the current topology and the proposal was performed, obtaining statistical results on the traffic generated by the different services provided, and the use that will be made by each of the users within the organization, as well as OPNET allowed to make comparisons between both topologies.
Finally, the budget for equipment and technical and economic feasibility study was elaborated to determine the viability of the project, with all possible advantages for the organization, and that it is according to the optimal requirements to manage and operate the data network, taking into consideration important factors such as availability, security and scalability. |
