Sumario: As a result of the constant growth in the number of residential clients of the distributing companies of electrical power, the companies suppliers of these services have to make significant investments in human resources as in time; Additionally the mistakes, consequence of the manual operation of the readings of the meters of energy, bring the constant claim of clients, by the exposed, the present work analyzes the technical and economic feasibility of implementing a system of telemedition with Radio Frequency communication for a distribution company, so that there is not the need to use personnel of field and of this way to make a billing transparent to the user. In the present project the three more representative methods of telemedición are exposed, like are Power Line Carrier, Radio frequency and Telephone Line, after that, centralize in the following central subject that is: "ANALYSIS OF FEASIBILITY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A TELEMEDITION SYSTEM USING THE METHOD OF RADIO FREQUENCY FOR A DISTRIBUTION COMPANY". For the analysis as much technician as economic, the present project is based on statistical data of number of counters, consumptions, billing costs of the residential clients of the Empresa Eléctrica Quito S. A. The Chapter III contains the technical analysis to implement the system of telemedition proposed for residential customers, of E.E.Q.S.A.’s concession area, after that, in Chapter IV to perform the analysis of economic feasibility of implementing the system for E.E.Q.S.A. Once the respective financial analysis was accomplished, it will be determined if the proposed system is feasible technical like economically to implement it for the E.E.Q.S.A's residential clients, and consequently for any company of distribution of electric power.
