Sumario: At the present time the companies of electric power distribution look for solutions to obtain a major control of the consumption of the energy and power to negotiate in an efficient way the consumed energy. The concept of intelligent electric nets outlines the incorporation of new technologies applied to the measure and supervision of that of system distribution. The purpose of this project is the study and design of an advanced mensuration system, for the control and monitoring in the residential area. During the development it is described the different existent technological models for the purpose of design of the system, this is carried out an analysis of residential load, projection of the demand, study of mensuration devices, communication protocols that are part of the structure of intelligent electric net of a system of residential. The future application of the service guarantees the dependability in the reading, court and re-connection and to avoid the fraud-manipulation of the meter that you can be caused by third toward the electric net that affect from a significant way to the energy administration of the distribution company.
