Prior to reengineer our design proposal for Paints Produtekn, company dedicated to the commercialization and manufacture of chemical products for the construction process was performed. Among the products is the manufacture of paint, for which carried out the processes of blending and packaging in general, this is how the painting is produced and this is where the reengineering project was carried out, especially in the classification process and product release.
In this company the filling and packaging processes are performed manually, leading to failure, wasted time and loss of paint also has little control in the production process.
The company, taking into account the wide variety of products in the same industry that are on the market, has requested a SCADA system design as a proposal for automating sorting processes and office, which has created the need for these processes be more flexible and accurate, so that you can sort and pack paint more quickly, this is the main objective of the reengineering project seeks to fulfill.
The lifting of a process map in the company which showed disorganization in work areas was performed, safety deficiencies were noted. Therefore the process map system for the production of painting focusing on the stage classification and clearance took place.
For system design tools currently taking boom used in industry, automation tools were applied in the traffic control process and this is carried out by a programmable logic controller (PLC) which control of automatically the new mechanisms in the process of sorting and delivery.
The proposed design aims to substantially improve the processes of sorting and delivery method changing it from a manual to an automated and modern process, seeking the increased efficiency and effectiveness of the project.
For a week and with the help of our arms, simulating actuators very close to actual conditions was performed, demonstrating that the proposed system is more efficient than the current system. |
