Sumario: This project develops the design and construction of an extraction system waste gas from a plasma cutter machine to the Proyectos Mecánicos Promec S.C.C. company It allows the removal of residual gases when the plasma cutter machine is operating, thus improving air quality in work area where the cutting table is. For removal of waste gases is designed and built an extraction system consisting of two recruitment campaigns located at the left and right end of the table and the aspiration of waste gases is given with the help of a fan in every hood, the output of each fan is a box of filters, which is responsible for cleaning the gases before being expelled to the environment, to connect the bells to the fans and these filter box, flexible duct is used. The extraction system is suspended on the cross beam of the cutting table, allowing us to cover the area of generation from waste gases in all directions in which the plasma cutter machine operates transverse direction is fixed while in the direction longitudinal moves as the crossbeam to move.
