Sumario: The following document aims to analyze the development of marketing (sales and positioning), in the Food Trucks microenterprises, located in the center of the city of Quito, for the year 2017, considering that in this way it seeks to provide a social contribution to the improvement for this type of business by identifying new ways to obtain a greater market share. This article is presented as a study applying the deductive method and exploratory research that with the help of marketing the Food Trucks companies allow themselves to have a guide of the activity for their development and positioning within the market. Well, by applying a survey to the owners or managers of the Food Trucks, it is easier to identify their most outstanding market problems so that in the future, alternative solutions for this type of company will be determined. Therefore, the importance of this research is based on analyzing marketing factors that influence sales and the positioning of the Food Trucks carts as entrepreneurship businesses that are directed towards the development and economic growth in the city of Quito, and with it, identify the most determining aspects with which it is possible to obtain greater profitability and recognition, through the income generated by sales. Therefore, through the current research will determine relevant data on the management of the business by their owners or administrators, so it is intended to contribute with valid alternatives of solution.
