The Salesian University in order to contribute to saving energy in our country is the need to undertake projects that contribute directly to optimize energy resource, one of these projects is a study of a smart grid system or SCADA system for cuts and reconnections in Electrical Engineering laboratories that allow obtain such energy consumption efficiency that has currently, to do this SCADA system is designed so that it has the ability to remotely control the connection and disconnection of all circuits comprising these laboratories whether these lighting circuits or power circuits turn so that these circuits are put into service only when laboratories are to be used by students or turn when the need calls for it, the system also has the ability to monitor energy consumption and events generated by causes other than a fast and real-time |
