Sumario: The current project contains the development of the environmental management plans for the Ecuadorian Air Force commands located in Quito and the Recoleta and the command of Education and Doctrine located in the Prensa. The Environmental Management Plans are developed for the buildings were both commands of the Ecuadorian Air Force are functioning, which are proposed to be the base of the environmental achievement, and as a way of verification of the environmental legislation that applies its activities. The implementation of proposed measures focuses on preventing, mitigating, minimize, prevent or correct the negative environmental impacts and enhance those positive. The development of this project was conducted by visits in situ, data statistics, records, photography, and interviews with personnel involved, which allowed identifying the real and current state of the buildings and evaluating major aspects and environmental impacts as well as the use of the resources used in each of the commands. The measures contemplated in the project of development of the Environmental Management Plans include a set of actions to change habits in the staff of the commands for both, the civilian and military, with the objective of efficiently using energy, rational use of resources and the reuse of materials, among others. The people responsible to adopt and /or implement the proposed activities and corroborate its compliance will be the staff involved directly and indirectly managed by the High Commmand.
