Sumario: This research aims to investigate the historical memory of communicative and social practices of neighborhood soccer league in Carapungo. To this end the following topics were developed: Initially theoretical approaches to communication, social interaction, communication and social interaction, and historical memory as the basis of communication tools for analysis that concludes the investigation. Subsequently referred to the neighborhood as a place of communication where individuals interact, besides being the center of cultural, formed through social imaginary originating in each sector, they produce individual and collective identities. Finally in the theoretical area appointing the sport as an activity that people do, taking specifically in this case the discipline of football, where a brief reference is made to your story and immediately brings the Ecuadorian context, which also is the merges with the neighborhood, to address the issue of neighborhood football. Finally, the data obtained from qualitative research method is analyzed, taking their techniques to develop the analysis of historical memory of communicative and social practices of the Neighborhood Football League Carapungo, starting with its history, which pass through its origin and progress in its infrastructure, then the issue of equipment, where he will discuss his conformation, following the institutionalization and organization, including the issue of leaders, concluding with generating communication practices of representation and identity.
