This intervention carries out a program of Social Skills training for 20 adolescents who attend St. Patrick School Workshop. This program, by means of Cognitive – Behavioral Techniques, enables beneficiaries to increase their self-control and pro-social behaviors, as well as they improve control and anger expression. The project consists of three phases: the pretreatment assessment phase (diagnosis), the intervention phase (program implementation) and the post-intervention assessment phase (project evaluation). In order to record and evaluate pre and post intervention data, the Structured Learning Test was used to assess Social Skills. The STAXI was used to assess Anger and the CACIA was used to assess Self-control. The project aimed at the implementation of the Teaching Social Skills and Self-control Goldstein Program, which is adapted for adolescents between 15-18 years old with high levels of anger attending St. Patrick School Workshop in 2013. |
