Current coverage of cellular telephone network has problem areas in the new access
roads to the airport in Quito, so critical areas were determined by measurements with
Drive-Test equipment and information the existing stations operators. Then they
simulations corresponding to the initial situation, generated by the software Atoll,
identifying problem areas of coverage, and classified by operating, satellite
technology and performed.
Then, a feasible solution that optimizes the amplifier equipment as signals or other
technologies used by cellular operators was raised. Assets and liabilities equipment
solution together with their respective antenna configurations were selected, and the
location of these in critical areas was raised, along the routes under study.
To verify the proposal, the heat map that would result from the coating solution on
initial simulations based on actual measurements, but now considering new coverage
given by the solution is used.
Finally, the proposed solutions are suitable as signal levels along the way show an
improvement of about 25dB. |
