Sumario: The aim of this study is to develop in vitro establishment and multiplication protocols of Cedrelinga catenaeformis and Buddleja incana, for this purpose in vitro seeds and axillary buds of nursery plants were cultured. In disinfection and establishment stage of C. catenaeformis, lower levels of contamination were found in seeds subjected to concentrations of NaOCl 2 % (20 min) and axillary buds subjected to concentrations NaOCl 1 % (10 min). In the case of B. incana there were no contamination for seeds subjected to concentrations of NaOCl 3 % (10 min) and axillary buds subjected to concentrations of NaOCl 1 % (10 min). Higher rates of survival were found in MS and WPM culture medium for the two species. In B. incana multiplication phase the culture medium (MS) without hormones showed higher length of outbreak (1,95 ± 0.05 cm) and larger number of knots (1,94 ± 0.04 knots). However, with the addition of 0.5 ppm of BAP showed higher number of shoots/ outbreak (2.47 ± 0.04 axillary buds). Based on the results obtained, it may suggest that disinfection protocols for C. catenaeformis and B. incana are effective to in vitro establishment while the culture medium and hormones evaluated are effective for in vitro multiplication of B. incana.
