This paper is about qualitative and quantitative investigation, through the analysis of communication theories, focused on the principles of Educommunication, and the new Technologies of Communication and Information (ICT), it allowed to work in a digital repository for the new brand of the Social Communication Career of the Salesian Polytechnic University, Quito, without leaving apart the main base of transmediacion, product interface and communication networks, the main result of this investigation is a mobile library app, the app it’s going to help freshman students in the beginning of the career.
This kind of new apps allowed the students to find easily useful academic books, engagement with different subjects, increase the participation and collaboration between student-student and student-teacher, and reach the construction of the knowledge together. |
