Sumario: The Ecuador in the first two decades of the century has seen a transformation in the foundations of its constitutional and democratic structure that has brought new life, of relationships and "being Ecuadorians" One of these fundamental changes have to do with the recognition and declaration, under a new policy proposal supported by a new constitution, our country is multinational and intercultural which brings us to the Ecuadorian people to interact differently in the process of building a new socio-cultural paradigm. As Ecuadorians are called to know how to relate between different cultures in a respectful and balanced manner at all times favoring integration, party coexistence and mutual learning without generating colonizing alternatives. This work has the objective to know how indigenous communities embody experientially multiculturalism for which we will focus on Tingo Pucará community, located in the province of Cotopaxi, to thereby propose epistemological bridges between the theoretical and the practical generating new learning being that multiculturalism is not a static concept but constant construction. To achieve the objective will make an ethnography understood as focus and research perspective. The results of this ethnography will be those related to new learning from different perspectives, in this case the indigenous panzalea on the concept of multiculturalism. Thus the outcome of the investigation will be a contribution to the construction of the concept of multiculturalism in a Plurinational State essence.
