the power quality of a power system by
eliminating the harmonic distortion, with
reference to the standard IEEE519-2014,
where it has been stablished
recommended practice and requirements
for harmonic control in electric power
systems.
To reduce the THD has been used RLC
circuits tuned to each harmonic order to
be filtered, installed parallel to the
nonlinear load, the RLC filter parameters
have been calculated under the IEEE
standard 1531-2003.
A case study is used for modeling in
Matlab platform; this system has the
necessary parameters to modeling of
resonant conditions series and parallel for
frequency scan. For to get voltage
harmonic spectrum and percentages of
total harmonic distortion it was used
current injection method.
Finally, the values of total harmonic
distortion and voltage harmonic spectrum
are presented under acceptable limits of
harmonic control. To illustrate the effect
of reducing the percentage of total
voltage harmonic distortion, and in
consequence improvement of the power
1 Egresado quality the voltage waveforms shown in
the nodes of interest. |
