Sumario: The education system has significant changes to curriculum, standards, time and also in the process of learning as there is a great variety and breadth of resources available that can be applied according to the needs of teachers to share the contents of the plan class. At present it is essential to implement new teaching strategies supported by appropriate teaching materials, since they are a methodological support having the intent to arouse the interest and active student participation. The application of educational resource in the classroom, trying to improve the process of building knowledge in students. The elaborate teaching resource is presented in the Quechua language, in order to provide a small contribution to the school community Nazacota Puento San Pedro, as a way to keep alive the mother tongue. In this paper the characteristics of teaching resources and recommendations for proper use are defined; physical, psychological and social aspects of children of 9-10 years; the importance of the Kichwa language in education and its relationship to the natural sciences. The teaching resource developed is a poster on air pollution and protection to be applied in the fifth year of basic general education in natural sciences area.
