This research is based on the collection and subsequent systematization of information on the participation of women in the Feasts of the "Maize and Tourism" in Canton Rumiñahui. The methodology used comes from informational sources: documents written by chagras (people from those places) and cantonal institutions, field sources, and interviews.
All the historical memory of chagras is buried in few books found in the library being a fact that discourages citizens to know their past due to the lack of an audiovisual recording. This was the need for make a systematized story video where shows everything about the participation of chagra women in different cultural activities, the contribution to the growth and recognition of their participation, in order to the sangolquileño village and its surroundings can learn data to show over time they have become irrelevant and thus maintain the collective memory alive.
The work begins with an analysis of the relationship among communication, culture and identity; topics such as multiculturalism, identity, self and other are mentioned also. The second chapter is about the historical memory of Rumiñahui Canton, conducting a survey of information through books and interviews on Sangolquí and culture Chacarera. In the third chapter, a video has been filmed, the pre-production, production and post production in order to finish with conclusions and the final video that is appended to the end of the work. |
