Sumario: In the first chapter presents an overview of the context in framing student dropout and repetition since the data refer to the phenomenon as a problem to be analyzed, its prevalence in the country, as well as a conceptual review of logotherapy and existential analysis in the second chapter, the third chapter deals with the development of methods and techniques to be followed for data collection in an explanatory, and the type of methodology used to collect, standardize and process data for the analysis of information. The existential framework in universities is analyzed from existentialism in the fourth chapter as a supposed transcendent being, in practice political, economic society, emphasizes the depreciation of knowledge and the potential relationships between existential emptiness and the loss or desertion student, the iatrogenic factor, the basic concepts of the theory Logotherapeutic and a brief description of their application techniques.
