Sumario: This project aims to design and build a continuous numbering machine paper, according to the needs of small printing industry of Ecuador. In Chapter 1 the historical review of the paper, its manufacturing process and subsequent acquisition thereof is described. Then continuous paper presents with its composition, shape and size according to the technical standard NTE INEN 2267: 2000. Subsequently, a study of materials, elements and equations to be used in the design and subsequent construction of the machine is done. Finally an analysis of alternatives is performed. In chapter 2 is detailed the numbering portal shaft design, roll 1, holder shaft staples, staples bearing shaft 1, the tempering of paper and structure. In Chapter 3 is detailed costs of raw materials, machining, indirect costs and the total cost of the machine. Finally are presented, conclusions, recommendations, list of references and appendices (Engineering drawing, bearings, materials, construction photos and operation and maintenance manual machine)
