The power supply has become an essential service for all kinds of activities and the
development of life itself, that is why it must be given to levels of appropriate voltage
and frequency and continuity.
In this paper has gathered the necessary information about the elements that carry
electrical power from a substation to the end user, and which form part of a distribution
network, such as transformers, which are the most important elements of the network,
since they reduce the voltage level to the levels of consumption.
It also describes features of the main elements of protection and sections that are used to
maintain a level of optimal security and reliability in air distribution networks.
It also presents an excerpt from the rules which SA Empresa Eléctrica Quito used for
the realization of power projects within their area of concession. It should be noted that
only took into account the rules of distribution of the EEQSA that is used to carry out
the design in the industry CAUPICHO 2.
Currently, it requires EEQSA network designs within its concession area, are made with
the help of software DISREQ. In this work we added a quick manual to use this
program.
Mainly, the reason for this study is to perform the necessary calculations to reach the
power levels appropriate to the users of the sector above, which is located within the
concession area of Quito Electricity Company SA
We present diagrams of existing networks in the industry and which are weak and do
not provide the necessary assurance for users of the sector. Attached lotización
drawings, diagrams of the new network of medium voltage, low voltage and lighting. |
