The present systematization is an interpretation and analysis of the project of intervention carried out by the "Psychological accompaniments in assigned cases of adolescents from 14 to 18 years of Specialized Workshops San Patricio (TESPA), to generate symbolic resources through historicization in their grieving processes"
This systematization seeks to perform a rereading that contrasts psychoanalytic theory with the cases assigned in the intervention project.
The cases assigned were the cases of adolescents with various issues associated with significant losses during their lives that end up in maladaptive behavior, such us: Academic disinterest, challenging positions before authorities, substance use, etc. These maladaptive responses had as a background the concealment of a psychic pain provoked by the so called losses.
This psychical pain provokes in the adolescents the difficulty in the ability to symbolize the experience and therefore a detachment from the work of mourning.
In order to approach the assigned cases, a psychological accompaniment was carried out, whose therapeutic environment was through historicization. This medium sought the reconstruction of the adolescent's own stories, allowing the symbolization of the losses generating new adaptive responses to the demands of the environment. |
