“Memória Histórica de Calacalí (Calacali’s Historical Memory)” is a communicative
production, that has as first aim the narration of the ancient history and practices
inherited during time, based on the documental video “Añoranzas de Calacalí
(Calacalí’s Yearning), which registers the cultural and artistically expressions of the
parish as point of connection with new generations that embrace hybrid cultural
patterns that lead a reinterpretation of the towns historicity.
That´s why is necessary to rethink the culture and teach the people about the real
sense of cultural historicity, this is important to remember customs of past and the
way of life, memories whit meanings, this will be important in a structural concept
created by the community members and the culture.
For which, it is precise new forms of socialization of the culture by means of an
audio-visual record elaborated under an exhaustive field investigation, in order to
identify the traditional elements of the parish; furthermore important authors have
been selected, using cultural-theorical and historical lineaments that use as support to
construct a theorical correct frame for the appropriate development of the work.
The documental video will be transmitted through the Universidad Politécnica
Salesiana (Technical University Salesiana) based in Quito, with an approximate
duration of twenty four minutes, having as target audience the whole community of
Calacalí, in order to revalue and remind its citizens the history of the town. |
