Sumario: This case study will give us a focus on how they are performing the practices of teaching beginning reading and writing in preschool education, considering that until now have not conducted research testify as this is done. For this it will be observed and analyzed the methodological process of class time, taking into account the following variables: planning, methodology, teaching relationship - educating, academic assignments and assessments, which will be systematized to provide information that benefits teaching practices. This research is specifically focused on the area of language. As you know the language is present throughout the individual's life, allowing it to communicate and express with the surrounding environment, so by teaching literacy in the initial level is to develop the skills and skills needed to understand and produce linguistic messages. Data for this study will be collected based on observations without participation of a day or hour class on the chosen institution, with the help of a field diary and observation sheets, which have established parameters and may systematize the information obtained on the methodological process used by the teacher according to the classes observed. After conducting research we can testify that the teaching of the Education Unit "La Salle" Conocoto, conducts a successful practice and adequate education, proving to be a competent teacher and dedicated to her work.
