This paper describes the development of two systems: a web application and a mobile application. The main function of both systems is to automate management activities, navigation and visualization of routes within the process of delivering of the “Distribuidora Tanilact”; from the steps of data collection routes and customers, analysis, design, construction, testing and deployment.
The Web application allows the CEO of the company, to have important data about the most relevant business activities, including: key client information (owner, local’s name, local’s type, address, phone, etc.); as well as, information established routes for delivery and distribution of products (geographical location, distances traveled routes, sectors covered, etc.).
The mobile application performs the functions of display and route guidance, allowing anyone to go and deliver products to customers either route without knowing by heart the location of customers and roads to be driven to reach them. In addition, the mobile application is designed to indicate the arrival at the store, bakery, restaurant, nursery, ice cream factories, etc. and display essential information such as owner’s name or representative, local’s name, etc.; The system also notifies if the client is authorized to receive promotions and what kind of promotion assigned. At the same time, the application shows if the customer has outstanding debts or is approved for credit. This mobile application provides options start down any route, either by taking as a starting point to the Matrix Distributor, or the current location of the device. |
