The Biodont system has been designed to book medical appointments through mobile devices with Android platform, which allows to automatize this process to generate medical appointments, with updated, accurate and flexible schedules. The application can be used anywhere, as long as the user has access to internet service.
It is important to mention that, in addition to the mobile system, there is a Web module which allows the administration of information that is used in the mobile application. This module concludes the process of the appointment once it is validated by the doctor that will provide the service. Both modules are complementary for the appropriate operation in the process of booking medical appointments.
In order to implement this process successfully, a RUP methodology has been applied, as this methodology allows the implementation of the phases that should be met to develop the system in an ordered way, and to achieve the expected results.
This document will also provide useful information for developers with knowledge in JAVA and C # that are interested in creating new applications for mobile devices with Android operating system, integrating processes between mobile and Web applications, and enabling administrators to generate conclusions for decision making.
This thesis project consists of 4 chapters which includes: Chapter 1 Description of tools, Chapter 2 Requirements analysis, Chapter 3 Application building and Chapter 4 Testing.
Finally, conclusions and recommendations arising titling project. |
