One of the biggest changes that we are seeing both in educational settings and in society in general is progressive and unstoppable expansion of software and free knowledge as a new technological and cultural model of personal and social development, despite difficulties and obstacles that are placed from the multinationals and the governments that support or depend on them.
If in other centuries showed the need for education, culture and communication as items that any human being should have free access because they are essential factors in his life (and not just food or shelter), in beginning of this century and it seems unquestionable that the information and communication should be understood as such services and rights to which any person should have access to achieve higher levels of well-being and human groups to allow better development. |
