The study of this work, starts from the need to find strategies that promote and encourage the donation of organs and tissues. Currently in Ecuador exists a large number of patients registered on waiting lists even though by the law all Ecuadorians are donors unless otherwise stated. The public institutions in charge, does not meet the expectations of patients and their families and many of them die before receiving an organ for transplantation. The lack of information and interest in these issues are a key factor for mostly of people refuse to be donors. The realization of this marketing plan, allows us to analyze the current shortcomings and the points of improvement, which will be used for activities that provide information, raise awareness and encourage the donation of organs and tissues. To reach our goal two action plans are proposed, they are focused on raising awareness through talks at schools and hospitals in the city of Quito. These strategies will create a real communication and an important contribution to society. What matters is that both students and people in hospitals that are involved in these talks are in the ability to impart information to their friends and family, thus the theme will not be a taboo but something that can contribute and restore quality of life to a patient for whom his only hope for survival is an organ transplant. |
