The following paper aims SAE 20W50 oils characterizations of various brands that are commercialized in the Ecuadorian market; in order to do that I have to obtain the maximum, minimum pressures and the range of better performance on each lubricant.
In the Chapter 1 is described the friction theory, wear, viscosity and lubrication, with emphasis in the types of lubrication, especially in hydrodynamic lubrication because is the main topic of this work.
In the Chapter 2, calculations and experiments are presented, also is checked that hydrodynamic lubrications exists in the ranges in which the tests were conducted
Finally conclusions and recommendations are exposed in the work. |
