This research project clarifies the need to show the importance of the academic training
and the professional performance of psychology educators, by planning and
developing frameworks for “Buen Vivir”, displayed through the needs, demands and
job prospects that are expressed by employers of psychology educators at different
educational institutions in the Metropolitan District of Quito.
Actually, the different opinions and assessments detailed by employers of psychology
educators, that are certainly guided by the knowledge and abilities acquired by
professionals’ experiences, and in one way or another exposed by the need to know
and to describe the socio-educational realities, beginning with the context that
illustrates the personal characteristics of those psychologists, mainly their ethical and
professional profiles, which will allow to identify and deal with, utilizing the
respective tools, the various problems many educational institutions are facing.
This anticipated project is designed based on the descriptive tendency of the most
relevant content by employers, it manifests with projections the fulfillment of
psychology educators’ role by meeting expectations and highlighting each immersed
need in the educational network , and in turn it is expected to potentiate job prospects
with regard to social relevance, which is aimed at strengthening the comprehensive
development and performance of inter universalization care and welfare of the student
population, immersed in “Buen Vivir”. |
