Sumario: The present project refers to the systematization of experience gained during the application of an intervention proposal which objective is assertive communication development of second grade students, teenagers from 13 to 15 years old of the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional San Patricio. During the study, a qualitative methodology is applied in order to interpret the three operated categories: Empathy, Listening and Coherence in verbal and nonverbal communicative. The methodology also allows us to obtain a variety of opinions, experiences and other subjective aspects of the participant teenagers in order to be analyzed. Additionally, the interpretation was made qualitatively through the application of Rathus Assertiveness Scale to evaluate the level of assertiveness of the teenagers. The systematization presents an analysis and comprehension of the experience in which it is been able to identify achievements as well as deficiencies and limitations of the group intervention process. Furthermore, it includes a design of intervention that can be applied for the development of assertive communication. In conclusion, it is taken into account that joining the three categories operated in the group intervention process has contributed efficiently in the participant teenagers in order to help them acquire abilities to improve their interpersonal relationships through assertive communication
