Sumario: The present research was carried out in the Río Blanco Micro-basin DJ Toachi, mainly for the upper part where the station of Valle Hermoso, Río Blanco DJ Toachi H-0138 is located, which is located between the provinces of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Pichincha and Cotopaxi, with an area of 4424.29 km2. Among the main objectives are the Hydrological study through the determination of the Morphometric parameters of the Micro-watershed, the Water Balance of the same and the Precipitation Runoff Relationship existing through analysis methods for large basins such as the SCS Curve Number Method and Modeling in HEC-HMS. The necessary information for the investigation was the statistics of the precipitations, temperatures and flows of the period under study, of all the stations that are influencing the study area, which were processed by Excel, ArcGIS and HEC-HMS. For the determination of the morphometric parameters of the Micro-basin was based on the application of basic morphometry and ArcGIS equations, among the main ones the average slope of 16.43% which indicates that its runoff velocity is low, and therefore the capacity Of infiltration is greater. The Water Balance is based on the application of the continuity equation, which establishes that for any period of time the inputs and outputs will be determined by the variation of the volume of stored water, the calculation of the potential evapotranspiration was done by means of the Thornthwaite method, with a total mean precipitation of 2955.95 mm/year. According to the relation precipitation runoff, it was obtained that the runoff in the upper part of the Micro-basin is smaller, but with a higher degree of infiltration.
