This document is divided in 3 chapters needed for the design and construction of a semi-automatic capsule filling which are detailed below:
Chapter 1 details the concepts and formulas to be used by starting with a review of the pharmaceutical industry and its innovations on the market, the description of a capsule defining the size to use for the analysis is defined as the number one , moreover some geometric features and capabilities which are very important in the study are detailed.
In addition, there is a detail with a brief explanation of the process of formation of the hard capsule as a process in which sanitation and hygiene factors are present during the entire analysis at using appropriate materials such as stainless steel for giving us also detailed engineering concepts for the study and calculations to be performed in the next chapter.
Then, for chapter 2, the design of the machine is important, firstly, to consider some parameters that will be the basis for the calculation and selection of the various elements of the encapsulating machine.
This chapter describes the whole design process semiautomatic capsule filling machine, which is divided into three sections based on the main motion that is the mechanism where the springs, rack, gears and shaft power are. These elements are static calculations designed under the principle of allowable stresses, having as initial data the force or load supported by these elements.
The second part corresponds to the plates statically analyzed by allowable stresses and shear stresses.
In the third part the calculations pertaining to pneumatic capping machine through catalogs for valves and also for double acting cylinders.
Finally, an analysis of all costs involved in the construction of semi-automatic capsule filling machine, which is divided into direct and indirect costs, also evaluates the cost of machine time, taking into account that is a machine of high accuracy and that some of the elements of this machine were made with CNC processes (computerized numerical control), so there is a variable price depending on labor and machining concerned.
For having an easy and exact detail of each element of the machine, an analysis of unit prices for each item in the encapsulating machine is made up. |
