The evolution of technology in the last decade has had great relevance and importance
in communications and the optimization of resources and conservation of the
environment, is one of the most important issues of recent years.
The purpose of the project was to carry out a study of the technology of data
transmission through light led by an ecological and innovative option helping to use
new sources of sending and receiving information.
The experimental prototype proposed in this project had two fundamental parts: an
emitter module and a receiver module. The transmitter module was composed of an
Ethernet card and the sensor was mounted on an Arduino Mega Model 2560 board.
These two elements were connected to a transmitter receiver and receiver of visible
light receivers.
On the other hand, we had the receiver module that basically had the same structure, a
board and an ethernet shield that was mounted on an Arduino Model Mega 2560.
These two elements were coupled to a transmitter and transmitter / receiver consisting
of a receiver Of visible light.
The two modules have been coupled to a relevant circuit that allows their operation
for which it was built and you can appreciate the transmission of information through
led light.
The prototype was validated by performance tests on specific parameters such as the
transmission speed bandwidth and the energy consumption, as well as the variation of
distances for its correct operation. |
