Sumario: Falcon Gavilanes is a company that have forty years´ experience in the apparel industry, despite its extensive experience in the Ecuadorian market, It doesn´t have an order in their procedures and each process is making manually or empirically, without thinking that in these years the market has evolved like the way how to operate or govern each department of a company; for this reason the need to implement the design of an internal control system that allows to the company control every production process and reach out chronologically and ordered each department, as well as improving their business performance at the micro and macro level. Internal control is the responsibility of the highest authority of a company, and for that reason should be applied based on policies and standards developed according to the needs of each area of the company. For this internal control is reliable, it is necessary that each department head meets omitting none processes so that they may be updated for future improvements. Our thesis consists of four chapters are divided as follows: Chapter one speaks of Knowledge Company, in this chapter we pointed general aspects of the company as background, historical background, objectives, economic activity and organizational structure; Chapter Two shows the theoretical framework in which all talk about internal control; Chapter Three discusses the Current Situation of the company, in this internal, external analysis and diagnosis of the enterprise; Chapter Four deals with the design of the Internal Control System, this chapter shows whether the thesis, the proposals we make to the improvement in daily activities of the company, and ends with conclusions and recommendations.
