Sumario: The discovery of new drugs and active chemical structures against pathogenic bacteria has been achieved from the study of the secondary metabolism of microorganisms produced in controlled conditions, incubating in a liquid culture medium in these conditions bacterial strains capable of inhibiting the growth of other bacteria, is obtained the antibiotic or secondary metabolite of interest. The experimental work focused on the production of the antibiotic generated by bacteria isolated from soil, identified by biochemical tests such as Burkholderia cepacia (PAG C007), Burkholderia cepacia (PAQ C024), Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (PAA C019) using a bioreactor in controlled conditions. In addition, the antibiotic was extracted using the liquid-liquid extraction technique. The antibiotic mixture was purified by thin layer chromatography (TLC), identifying the factions with antimicrobial activity by means of agar bioautography and finally identifying by the use of Infrared spectroscopy (IR) the main functional groups that make up the antimicrobial molecule.
