This article addresses the issue of youth cultures and environment of mutation to
modernity; point of interest is based on youth culture as myth and cultural mutation. The
object of study is reflected in the changes that has taken in recent years youth cultures and
their appearance in the technological age. These cultures do not have an exact date or a
defined temporal occurrence, but a mutation of traditional cultures into a new group called
cyber cultures or new hybrid cultures. To understand this, first a theoretical foundation for
the most representative terms in this research is done. Secondly the youth cultures
transformations addressed due to the presence of new technologies. It also responds to the
key research question: What are the characteristics of these new hybrid cultures or cultures
are born and where?
These new cultures are based on a restructuring physically, such as psychological and
therefore social. Finally, he examines the form of promotion of these cultures which
together with social networks, the internet and the media make youth a role today, ceasing
to be the Group subordinated by an adult, the interpreter of the technological age. Youth
cultures will give a twist in terms of expression and liberty through the digital age without
restricting their ideas and their identity. |
