The Salesian University has its main libraries in the cities of Cuenca, Quito and Guayaquil, which are structured both in infrastructure and technology to provide a quality service to the user, facilitating access to and information needs. However, there is a totalitarian strategy to publicize the services provided by libraries UPS, which has resulted in a disinterested university community, uninformed and novice in the use of services and library facilities.
For this reason it is necessary to work in a communicative strategy to socialize services, as well as designing a creative and attractive proposal for induction to the UPS libraries.
This paper aims grade three issues. First, the history of the library and its transformation over the years. Second, the diagnosis of UPS and its conclusions libraries. Third, the communication strategy of the libraries of the UPS in its three offices.
Finely, this work allows to plan, design, encourage and motivate, to students of the UPS to get interested and aware of the real benefits and advantages to be accessed and promoted in a positive way in the knowledge that exists in these libraries, them that are not being used in a rational manner, ignorance of the new implementation that will be launched at the end of this work in full coordination with the university. |
