Sumario: The thesis is presented below is titled “TEACHING GUIDE TO IMPROVE CHILDREN READING SECOND YEAR BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL “JUNE 5th " CAMPUS PANYATUG LOW HEART PARISH, Pangua, Cotopaxi province". First, it provides a broad definition and concepts of what is education, reading, definitions of a scientific way we teach the features, attributes, strengths and reflections of this. We have also conceptualized what is the pedagogy, essential tool for teaching and education focused on major authors, allowing us to discover and develop techniques and strategies for our guide, which actually is an effort geared towards our children -as. We understand that reading processes enable it to know, but it is also essential to develop language skills and the language, which today is one of the crucial mechanism so we could communicate between humans, which combines listening, reading, speaking and writing, each with importance relevant to the development of the individual.
