This research by its nature is part of the theme of social movements and the struggle for gender equality by organizations of indigenous and mestizo women in Riobamba canton in the province of Chimborazo.
In the first chapter provides an overview about women's political participation, democratic governance and gender, gender relations in the debate and the public agenda, the feminist women, are reflections on issues such as feminism and law, human rights treaties, the progress on women's human rights in the Constitution. The trajectory of women's organizations in Ecuador, and ends with an analysis of the context and reality of women in the province of Chimborazo. |
